The owners

A family estate, run by hand.

Owned by the Münch family and run day to day by Benedikt, who lives on the estate. The story of the Castle Project, in his own words — coming soon.

Note for editor — this page is a content placeholder.
You mentioned you'll provide a personal "about the owner" text. Drop it in here. Suggested shape, based on what you've told me:
  • The Münch family owns Mirande; Benedikt lives in France and runs the day-to-day of the property and the business.
  • It is a family place, but with a single, clear point of contact and responsibility.
  • How the Castle Project began (the 2018 purchase), what the restoration has involved, and the spirit in which guests are welcomed.
  • Add an informal portrait photograph, ideally taken on the estate.

How it began

The Castle Project.

In the spring of 2018, the Münch family bought a 17th-century house — built around 1660 and standing on older fortified bones — in a quiet corner of Southern Burgundy.

Placeholder. Replace this with your own account of how the project started and what the years of restoration have involved. Keep it honest and personal — it reads beautifully that way.

Come and see for yourself.

The best way to know whether Mirande is right for you is to write. Every enquiry is answered personally.
